I've come to the conclusion that all European pigeons are fat.


Anyway, I spent two weeks of July in Paris. The one in France, not Texas.

I took a rather large (to understate) number of photos, and I have a lot of work from old shoots that I haven't posted yet. So, sorry if I've been swamping your inboxes.

People seem to be liking my architecturally-inclined photos more than the portraits I came back with. I think I'll upload more of those in the weeks to come!

School begins for me in two days. I think I'm going to be available to do senior portraits this year; I could use some extra earned cash and, quite frankly, it drives me insane how many people are advertising "My Full Name Here Photography" when the quality of their work merely involves being able to hold a camera right-side-up and then churning the product through Picnik to receive an over-edited picture. I'm not here to brag, I'm not here to call myself the best portrait photographer out there -- but there's a lot to be said for mere experience.

Life is going well. School ought to go more smoothly this year. God willing.
